The Gate

Our emblem and entrance has a history of its own, as the gate itself was salvaged from the original railings of St. Stephens Green Park in the centre of Dublin. They are made of solid cast iron and are incredibly heavy. From the moment you arrive at the gate, history awaits you at every turn.

The Gate Lodge, tucked under the trees to the left of the gate, has a distinctly fairytale look to it; it was traditionally the living quarters for the groundskeeper and his family. Today however, it houses Eoin Woods, our resident musician and friend.
